Can you tell for WoL if a tank is hitted in the back?

Post by Allya » Thu Jan 05, 2012 2:47 pm

Hello,

The question is simple (the one from the title). Can you help me with this?
My main concern is if you can track from logs when a tank is hit in the back (without avoidance).

Thank you in advance.

Not sure what exactly you mean by "no avoidance", but if you mean "no damage blocked" then you can use the Expression Editor by using blocked=0 in your query.

Sadly, you have no way to find out from the combat log wether the tank was hit frontally or from the back.

if he's ctc capped and didn't block a mele, he was hit in the back XD

Code: Select all

((fulltype=SWING_DAMAGE and blocked=0) or fulltype=UNIT_DIED) and targetname="TANKNAME"

Thank you!
This is what I need since our tank is capped.

Keep in mind that many tanks will swap gear from fight to fight. On some fights (like zon'oz and madness for starters), moar stam is more significant than average damage mitigation. So beware that your tank hasn't swapped something out on that fight.
