Merge Twilight Assault Drakes for Blackhorn fight

Merge Twilight Assault Drakes for Blackhorn fight

Currently for the Warmaster Blackhorn encounter there are two different twilight assault drakes in the wol log. It would be nicer if the damage done to each drake was combined into a single boss mob instead of 2. Not sure if you identify the drakes seperately because they carry a different add on their back and get reeled in at different times on each side, but maybe just copy damage done to one mob and add it to the other mob, and have it show as a single mob in wol if possible.

One other small thing, the broadside ability used by goriana isn't showing up anywhere that I see. Not sure if it simply isn't in the combatlog or just not showing for some reason.

If the mobs have a different UnitGUID, they will show as different on WoL. What reason do you want them merged together for anyway?

As for the broadside ability it unfortunately doesn't appear to be in the combat log :(

It would be easier/more convenient to browse if the mobs were merged. If we assign range dps to kill the drakes, we expect them to dps both drakes, and to see who's doing good or bad damage onto the drakes currently I have to look at both drake units and add damage done together to see who's performing.

A similar event happens with the limb tentacle on the madness encounter. The 1 initial large tentacle that spanws on each of the 4 platforms in the encounter is split into 3 different unit ID's. Arm tentacle, Arm tentacle, and Wing tentacle.

Ultimately its just small measure of convenience gained by merging these units. If it reqiures much time to change, then its probly not worth it I guess. Thanks for quick reply.

Yea, I can't speak directly for them but my guess is this will never be implemented as several things would have to be broken to do this...

You can also get what you are looking for by using the Analyze -> Damage Done pages. Simply leave the source and target on (any) and put this into the Expression box and then hit go:
Code: Select all
targetName="Twilight Assault Drake"

This will graph/chart only rows that match your given expression, in this case where the target's name is "Twilight Assault Drake". Picking a random example this is what it looks like: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/3llo ... =125&e=461
(And since it's using the XE type queries, linking actually works ;))

Hope that helps.

The drakes will not be merged. They are represented as separate actors in the log and hence are considered as such by WoL. We do not intend to implement a special-case workaround. You can use the Analyze/Damage Done pages with a query like the one ArcaneMagus provided.

To view a by-spell breakdown including pet abilities, you can select the "by spell" grouping type, the target actor and use a masterSourceUid = UID expression, which includes player and pet stats. Note that your current query is wrong and may yield incorrect results as you're matching sourceId instead of sourceUid. Furthermore, sourceUid need not be included in the query when you use masterSourceUid as a player is always his own master. For healing stats, make sure to use masterHealSourceUid to include shield stats.
