Macintosh fix

Post by hEADcRASH » Mon May 11, 2009 8:33 am

1) Open up Java Preferences, located in your Applications:Utilities:Java: folder.
2) In the bottom-half of the window in the general tab, labeled "Java application versions," drag the second line, "Java SE 6 64-bit," to the top. It should end up looking like this:

3) Launch the client.
4) Switch the lines back again, or press the "Restore Defaults," for applications that are expecting the JVMs to be found in their default order (e.g. Vuze)

This fix appears to only work for 64-bit macs, any idea about 32-bit macs?

Our client currently requires Java 1.6+. Since Apple hasn't released Java 1.6 for 32-bit macs, you cannot at this moment run our client on those.

Not sure if this is meant to fix the problem I am having... I am trying to chose the directory where my logs are, but it keeps giving me a message telling me that I must chose the Logs directly... which I have been doing, over and over...

I have done what this posts says to do, but it's not doing anything for my problem.

Please help?!?

Thank you,

Roz

Try typing /combatlog first. While WoW is running, use lsof in a shell to find the open file handle.
